| Education requirement | For skilled workers, three out of four of the following criteria must be met to apply: – Equivalence or comparability of the foreign academic or vocational qualification (regulated professions: licence to practice required additionally) – Three years of professional experience – Language skills or a previous stay in Germany – 35 years old or younger. |
| Work experience requirement | For IT specialists, proof of at least three years of experience in IT over the last seven years. |
