Sharing impact data to drive wider learning and results: The Refugee Labour Mobility Impact Measurement Dashboard

Measuring and sharing data is a key way to track progress of refugee labour mobility pathways towards this goal, and also celebrate the achievements of organizations implementing labour mobility pathways.

Talent Beyond Boundaries has designed a live impact dashboard to measure the progress of global labour mobility programs. We have worked with impact management consultants SoPact to design an Impact Measurement system and series of dashboards that can collate data inputs from many partners who are labour mobility programming. The dashboards generate ecosystem-wide results, and allow us to see the overall impact of labour mobility pathways on displaced people and their families.

We would love for other partners to be involved and share data to be included in The Refugee Labour Mobility Global Impact Dashboard!

Currently RefugePoint in Kenya, Jumpstart Refugee Talent in Canada have contributed data to the dashboard, including number of people who have job offers, families who will relocate with them, and the number of employers who hired.

Key numbers

Total people who have accessed a migration solution

This number shows the total number of people who have accessed labour migration pathways. It includes primary candidates with job offers, and their dependent family members who are able to move on labour pathways with them. It includes people who have moved, and those who have a job offer and are currently in the immigration process.

This number is important because it shows the overall impact of labour mobility programs, in terms of the number of people who have benefitted from them. The number includes people who have moved through TBB programs, and partners including RefugePoint and Jumpstart Talent.

No. of primary candidates who secured a job offer

This number is the number of candidates who have accepted a job offer globally. This number is important because it shows refugee and displaced candidates are able to successfully obtain a job offer with companies globally, and use their talents to move to safety.

Total people who have relocated to a destination country

This number shows the total number of people who relocated through a labour migration pathways. It includes primary candidates with job offers, and their dependent family members.

This number is important because it also helps to prove the concept that displaced people can move to destination countries such as the UK, Canada and Australia through labour mobility pathways.

No. employers hiring

This number shows how many employers hired globally. This is important because it shows that employers have given job offers globally to displaced people, and proves that employers are willing and open to hiring refugees.

Breakdown of people accessing migration solution by destination countries

This allows us to track how many destination countries displaced people have relocated to, and how many have moved to each country. This is important to show which country programs are working well, which may need more support, and where we can open pilot programs.

Breakdown of people accessing migration solution by source countries

We can track how many people from each source country secured a job offer, and how many people moved through labour mobility pilots. This is important to ensure people from different countries have equal access to labour mobility programs, and find out how we can support people in different source countries to access programs.

Breakdown of people accessing migration solution by nationality

This also helps us ensure displaced people from different nationalities have equal access to labour pathways. It also shows that many refugees from different nationalities have skills and talents, and can qualify for global job opportunities.

How to contribute

We would love for more partners to be included in the dashboard, so we can accurately track the impact of global refugee labour mobility programs. If you are interested in collaborating with us and being included, please see below for how to be included, and what metrics to share with us.

Please note that all data shared can be anonymous, as we only need numbers, not identifiable information.
